Boarding School Application – Tips To Apply

Every school is unique when it comes to academic, cultural and recreational facilities. For over the years British education has been great strength and international schools are embracing British education. Some of the finest institutions combines English heritage, old traditions and time tested practices with latest innovation with forward looking education. Schools are delivering eminent leaders, business minds, artists and scientists. The success rates are incredible when it comes to international curriculum schools. Choosing the best educational curriculum is a difficult decision to make. Boarding schools is a boon for working parents and the students are given the best educational options under one roof.

Students and parents are focused on the future and they are in the quest for educational environment that meets the goals of the students. Education is where the child begins to prepare for their future.

Start thinking of your child’s boarding school in advance to ensure you do not miss out on the boarding school application. There are many factors that go into selecting a boarding school. The profile of the child must impress the management to get them admitted. Popular schools are extremely competitive to get into and the acceptance rate is very low. There are many boarding schools to select from but to be on the safer side apply to schools that are less competitive, incase you do not miss out a year. There are excellent programs, reputations and amenities available in boarding schools, so check in advance to make an educated choice.

Compare the schools with educational and extracurricular opportunities both in the city and outside. Match your needs with the facilities offered by the boarding school. The schools should monitor the educational and personal needs of your child closely. At this there should not be any compromise. The academic excellence of the school makes it a scarce commodity. The class size is smaller in international schools and this gives them individualized attention.

Montessori Play School - The Reasons It Is Placed Above the Traditional Schools

Choosing the right preschool is on very parents’ mind. Making the right decision is extremely important herein, since this is the institution that goes on to shape the thought processes of every child in the formative years. This is also the first place that every child comes into after stepping out from the comforts of home. The realms of school are new for every child and every child may not take an immediate liking to it. It is therefore important that every child not only learns at preschool, but learns comfortably without any pressure. It is in this context that Montessori methodology of teaching scores big time. Montessori Play School is different from traditional play schools on various counts. The benefits derived from Montessori teaching are making the parents make a beeline for admission therein.

Montessori school emphasizes more on the social and cognitive development of children. It devises and employs methods that are aimed towards this. The endeavor of the Montessori teacher is not to ‘teach’ but to guide the students to help unravel the concepts themselves. The avant-garde teaching methodologies and the hands-on approach all go a long way in tapping the potential of every child to the hilt. In Montessori teaching, children are not only curious and eager to learn the concepts, but are also skilled and independent enough to take on the tasks themselves. This kind of teaching methodology is a far cry from the traditional methodologies that emphasize on rote learning wherein the students simply memorize the concepts instead of understanding them. The best aspects about Montessori methodology do not end here. In this system, there is no set curriculum for the students. The teacher adopts a child-directed approach wherein each child is given tasks and concepts as per her/his learning levels and capacity.
